review 1: What a waste of time. The book was okay until 40% and then everything went bad, I didn't like Jackson or Emma, well... I didn't like anything to be honest. I mean, there was a part where he kind of raped her and she did nothing, that was my breaking point. Yeah, I like an alpha male now and then but Jackson was beyond scary and too demanding, he often sounded like he owned her or something and I really hated that. Emma... oh my God, she is one of the worst female protagonist I've ever read., she didn't protest about anything, didn't demand anything, she was JUST there for the taking. There was one character that said she was "ambitious" and I haven't laugh that much reading a book in a while. The plot was none, everything was a big mess and not a pretty one by the way. I r... moreeally wanted to like this book but oh well, I didn't, and I'm not sorry.
review 2: *3.5 stars*This book picked up right at the beginning for me. It was interesting right at the start and it was a really great book. Then halfway through it, it was like WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT!!!!!!!!!It really confused me, there was like this giant transition from almost disgustingly sweet, to what I thought was absolute horror to read. And the ending dear god, major twister before everything goes all happy go lucky. So predictable!The romance was nice at first then it turned into some kind of ' I hate u relationship' but even through all the hatred she felt he was still somehow irresistible and she still slept with him over and over again. Honestly it was mostly just porn with a bit of a backstory and a whole lot of drama. However there were some good parts and for those I give 3.5 stars. less
