review 1: Warning to anyone beginning this book: I suggest starting a list of the characters, a family tree sort of thing is all that's needed, right away. I was SO lost by the 4th chapter, I had to start over! This was a really good, inspiring book. It was extremely interesting to read about lesbians in another culture, another country. The strength it must take to come out-and just to learn who/what you are-in a country like Jordan must be daunting. A great read.

... morelly made the book for me. It's very hard to find just a well told story of two people becoming friends, thinking they're straight, and falling in love as well as coming out. As someone who was in that exact position, I'm always pining for a book about just that. The book was a great read and I can honestly say I liked them both almost equally. I'd love suggestions for books with a similar story line. I personally did not find the POV's that hard to keep up with. As far as must read lesbian fiction, this is a top contender =) less
