review 1: I debated between a 3 and a 4 rating on this book. I'm not really sure what to think of it. I felt like it took way to long for the author to start telling us what is happening. It started to get a little bogged down with the day to day routine of the characters. Despite all that, I'm still intrigued with the world that the author has created and I, slightly grudingly, have become invested in the character's fates.It was interesting, a tad slow, but worth the read.
review 2: Whilst I got the plot line, I'm not 100% sure I fully got the book, I'm sure to the right audience it would be great but this one just didn't do it for me in terms of paranormal romance, and the martyrdom of Jessica sort of bugged me. I get she was trying to be a good person but there comes... more a point when enough is enough... And that line is a little dot to Jessica, I was hoping to love this and am a little gutted :( less
