The Nevermore Trilogy
review 1: A miracle drug turns people into zombie-like beings triggering an apocalypse. This was interesting and fast-paced, I was pulled right into the story. Until the epically evil cliffhanger. Now I know why this is free. Once you read this, you NEED the next book. NOW. This was very good and I recommend it. It has romance, suspense, and zombie-like people. What's not to like? For those reviewers who said the spread of the drug and whatever else are not realistic: It's a book about zombies. Enough said? Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to get the trilogy.
review 2: There were parts of this book I really enjoyed. However, it felt like it was trying to be Warm Bodies in many ways. I've got the two sequels to it and while I started the second book yesterday, I quit rea
... moreding it yesterday as well. Part of that could've been my mood, and I probably will pick it back up eventually, but part of it was that this felt flat and pointless. The story hadn't been finished in the first book, but I felt no drive to find out how it ended because it was getting almost ridiculous. There was no reason the zombie was acting the way it acted except 'true love'. Maybe further on in the series we'll get an explanation or maybe it really will just be true love and maybe when I'm in a different mood, I'll be more enthusiastic about this series. less
