review 1: A sickly sweet confection from American author Sheila Roberts. When Samantha Sterling's step-father dies, she discovers that the family confectionery business,Sweet Dreams, is in dire straits. Not only that but the bank, headed by the gorgeous Blake Preston, is on the verge of calling in their business loan. Samantha is a determined woman and, together with her two sisters, mother and the rest of the town puts on a chocolate festival to bring people to the town - and buy their confectionery. Chocolate pasta, anyone? Yuk! Although I love chocolate, by the end of this book, I felt I'd over-dosed on it.
review 2: A great little story set in Icicle Falls Washington. It is the kind of town we all would love to live in. Samantha's family has owned "Sweet Dreams" fo... morer generations, and it now in the ownership of Samantha. This came about after her step father passes away... It also involves her mom, her two sisters who now live in California, and a cast of characters you want to get to know. Her sisters come home to help out after a new bank manager takes over and she is in default of the loan. It is a really sweet story and I would like to read more my this author less
