review 1: I have to admit the only reason I bought this book was because of Cindy Gerard's story "Leave No Trace" and as usual, I was not disappointed. This story follows along with her BOI series and if you haven't read that series (highly, highly recommended), well let me tell you that you are missing out on one helluva fantastic suspense/romance reads. The only drawback about this story was that it just wasn't long enough. Her other books in the series were filled with gritty, edge of your seat, nail biting adventures where the leading characters oozed with so much sex appeal that you were left breathless once the story came to an end. Leave No Trace although shorter still accomplishes that wow factor, the gritty suspense, the steamy sexual tension but just not long enough of ... morean adventure drawing out the main characters and creating a more visually intense and stimulating storyline as is typical of Cindy's BOI series. (a 4 rating because of this) You'll understand what I'm writing when you start reading the BOI series and just my advice, get Into The Dark from Cindy's bodyguard series prior to beginning the BOI series (Show No Mercy) and yes, the books should be read in order.
review 2: It's always a hard call to review an anthology of stories by three different authors because many variables come into play.Kenyon is one of my favorite authors, and while her BAD series is not my favorite, I still enjoy her writing style and storytelling abilities. Admittedly, Just Bad Enough was the reason I chose the book in the first place.Leave No Trace was an interesting story with a well described setting. The female character was strong, and while the ending fit the storyline.Unstoppable seemed to have a rather contrived storyline, and the ending didn't work for me. I felt the need for an epilogue or something. less
