review 1: 4 Stars.It was a good ending without being too boring. I think the book could have been just fine without the major reason Haley decided she could spend forever with Daniel but it did add a sort of kick to the book. I liked Daniel and Haley because you could tell they were both strong characters and Haley wasn't totally all whiny throughout the two books. They never tried to change each other, but instead fully accepted themselves and their relationship together which is something to admire.
review 2: 3 Disappointed and Sad StarsAfter i finish it the first book of this series i was really looking forward to the Inner Core but slowly i come down from my high. I really expected more or at least the same quality i got in the first one but unfortunately that did no... moret happened.When i read the last chapter of the first book and it was from Daniel's point of view i expected this one to be from both points of view. I wanted to see what he thought and what it crossed his mind. But that didn't happened. And that's def not he reason i gave this book a 3 stars.What really didn't worked for me was that the author make this book WAY TOO COMPLICATED, and dragged too much. Not that it was longer than the first one but not as fast paced as the first one and some of the scenes were really useless and def did not belonged in here.Nothing is more annoying than discover an amazing new and refreshing author and series but only to be disappointed in the next book. less
