review 1: This was a pretty fast-paced who-done-it mystery. I enjoyed that it took place on the moors in the UK - it evoked a lot of great visions about what it looked like, shrouded in fog much of the time. The writing was quite British - used quite a few words that were non-US English (like "torch" for flashlight, "boot" for trunk, etc). I liked the protagonist (a forensic pathologist, I think he was called) - and the development of the various characters in the book was nicely done. It's a nice, easy read - but does have you gripping your seat in places.

Nothing of extraordinary, quick read but didn't make me buy other books of the author.

The weakest part of all 4 Hunter Stories, but 3 from 5 Stars is still top!
