review 1: The plot and action kept the storyline moving. I finished the book in 2 days because I wanted to see what happened. The technical details about computers, software, programming and social edits really made it contemporary. I've done some programming and appreciated how he integrated the ideas of technology. The religious conversations were interesting. FYI, there are some lusty love scenes but not too graphic.
review 2: The Peter chapters were a bit over my head, repetitive, and boring, to me, to be completely honest. The concept as a whole is a bit over the top for me as well, but given the age of technology we are in, it could be conceivable. Over-all, a pretty decent read. Almost similar to "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest" with a more sci-fi feel. And
... more there was a Doctor Who reference, so that made me like it a bit more. :P less

I liked it even though most of the physics references are well beyond me.
