review 1: I thought this book was pretty good!!! I liked how it had a bit of a cheesy side to it but not to the extreme..I found it a light enjoyable read and it kept me hooked in wanting to know what will happen next..I felt bad for the character Will and how he had to cope with what he had..I dont really think there was anything that i didnt like about this book..I loved how this book turned ou and im looking forward to reading the next books in line!!!!
review 2: I just couldn't help it. I have been wanting to read this book for a long time since I found it. Now I am ashamed that I didn't read it earlier.This story was fast-paced and fun with the hint of romance(every time that Will was distracted Alona's legs I was cracking up). Alona and Will are very different in t... moreerms of the high-school social ranking. Will is the freaky, but hot, emo boy and Aloa's the perfect, blonde haired cheerleader with a total attitude. They are forced together after a bit of twisted fate which leaves Alona dead and stuck as a ghost with only Will being able to hear her. The way both of the characters interacted with each other kept a gleeful smile on my face and I can only hope that in the next book things will be just as good. less

The premise of the story is cute with a mean-girl turned nice but it's definitely a light read that doesn't require a lot of brain power. Miss Popular gets run over by a school bus because she steps into the road without looking (so corny!) and the only person who can see and talk with her is the loser at school (who technically isn't goth, for the record). The ending is predictable so I didn't give the story a high rating simply because it was boring. There are references to sex and drugs so I won't recommend this to my daughter.
