review 1: Journey Into the Past is a wonderful lament on time, memory and relationships. The delivery and structure of the novel is deceptively simple. Written in the first person without timeshifts other than the recollection of memories it presents as a simple love story. However through sheer prose skill, weight and description the novella hurtles towards its inevitable finale. Life is about timing and you cant go back
