review 1: Maybe I'm just a grump but I liked it better before asshole lion and Gage got together. After that it was just so-so for me. I'm thinking Gage's brother will end up with the slutty cougar. Since I'm behind On the series I could probably go read blurbs to see if I'm right but I'm too lazy. And I don't get the title, what did Gage awaken from? IMO "Asshole Lion's Awakening" fits better since I never really noticed Gage having an awaken and smell the chunky coffee moment
review 2: Gage has been chasing Branson, a blind lion shifter, for a while, but Branson keeps pushing him away. At the same time Gage is struggling with feelings of not fitting in with the other hawk shifters. The romance between Gage and Branson is nicely developed; they're both awkward and stubb... moreorn and convinced they're not good enough.There's also an interesting story regarding Gage's background. less
