review 1: I liked it, but missed the familiarity of Bugtussle. **SPOILER** Maybe it's me, but the fact that Ace didn't seem to take her business seriously bothered me. I did appreciate her getting even with the vile Lenore Kenneshaw, but wished she stuck around longer to see the fallout. I also felt bad for Mason at times and during those times I wanted to slap Ace. He wanted her. He wasn't out with the guys every night. I guess the author was trying to get us to sympathize with Ace so that in the end when she leaves him we can understand why.
review 2: what's to be said about ace jones. she's hilarious! But also very real. Like the girl you'd have a beer with after a long day of work. I love her sassy take no prisoners attitude and her warm under it all personality. als
... moreo that she's not afraid to laugh at herself. I loved the friendships and side characters too. I was, however, so disapointed in the ending. I do hope things work out for ace. Fans of Janet evanovich will love this series less
