The Patrick Bowers Files
review 1: I don't know why everyone has rated this as. 5 star book . It took me around 100 pages to actually get interested in this book .and after reading 100 pages , I just wanted to finish reading because I like to finish what I start. The story line is good but at times while reading I felt I am going through an article or a manual regarding internet protocols and more complex kind . The whole conversations with the echo tech group felt very lame ... I just skipped reading them . I couldn't even relate with the whole emotional relationship concept which is 5 years old .But I liked how the thought process is written for Patrick. The Alexi character is quite interesting until he became not very Alexi. But will I go find another book from this series ... Probably ... morenot.
review 2: Hum, what to say? This was not one of the better books in the series. I really enjoyed the first few, but this one kept me asking, how much more do I need to read? There was too much going on. The main plot of someone trying to launch a nuclear missle was boring. If the book just dealt with the "other" stuff, I would have really liked it.I enjoy the characters and how they interact; I didn't need the other story line. less
