review 1: I bought and read this after hearing Cameron lecture about the experience of writing it. She is an excellent writer who, in this book, managed to present a vast amount of background and detail related to the murder of dozens of BC women. I couldn't put the book down despite the fact that the subject was profoundly disturbing. I think she handled the details of this case with supreme fair handedness and grace.

It represents decent true crime writing and provides good information about the process followed by police and crown.
