review 1: This book was utter bilge. If I'd read the word "Baby" one more time I would have gagged.Joey is a whiny chick with a dick. He spends a year going to a club where no one will talk to him...dance with him...flirt with him...I would have taken the hint 11 months & 2 weeks earlier & gone somewhere else! He feels unlovable...What-the-duck-ever. I was so irritated with his character that I couldn't care if his feelings were hurt while Logan didn't seduce him.Then the MC's actually get together & my eyebrows pretty much headed into my hairline & stayed there for the duration of the waffling, mediocre, boring, improbable, irritating tale. The only reason I finished this crap was because I needed it for the challenge.
review 2: Talk about an oops. Logan seeks to prote... morect Joey and to give Joey time to know him, but Logan doesn't seem to have given Joey the opportunity to know him, which was confusing. And the time frame of Joey receiving no encouragement at the club for a year seems a little long to me. I believe I would have bailed much sooner, as I am not a glutton for rejection. But the characters were good and I think the only real reason this story didn't get five stars from me was because it was too short. less
