review 1: I was waiting for Crank's story! Why? Because he was the last of the original crew members to find his mate and it had been kind of sad watching him longing and yearning for the man who would be his.Anok is very happy being a courier of documents between planets and galaxies. He's taken care of himself for a very long time on the streets and he's happy being by himself. He saw what happened to his mom from her mate and he doesn't believe in the true mate bond decreed by fate. He thinks it's a myth! Imagine his surprise when trying to do a good deed nets him a cougar shifter claiming they are mates and kidnapping him aboard the Lady Blue.Crank is just glad he's found his mate but doesn't understand why Anok doesn't want him or their mating. For a cougar shifter, once the ma... moreting heat begins, he has until the next full moon to claim his mate or go completely feral and have to be put down. Already Crank is feeling the instability within himself and he begs the doc to sedate him until Anok can be dropped off at another planet.Anok doesn't understand what is going on, but he knows that Crank brings out feelings in him he's never had before. In order to get some understanding he knows he'll have to go to Crank and hope that mating him is as wonderful as everyone else says it is.
review 2: Omg I thorouly enjoy this. There's not wounded hero or guilt trip just misunderstandings with little communication. Its not over sexed but I still don't like using it to solve probs. Simply a need to mate or else and to understand the concept of being a mate to someone who stop believing in it. So looking forward to mo's. I think they'll have a new ally (cross figures), why do mo thinks what he does about the new contact. Wonder if its a mmm ahhh I can only wish ne less
