review 1: Well. An alien furry sheikh. That’s new. Although I wonder. It does fit with the secret baby plot. *snicker*We have inconsistencies within this book as well as in conjunction with the earlier ones. (I especially have to wonder at the hero and his family who are supposedly of the Katzman race, yet they appear to lack their feline features. And apparently they can’t scent people’s emotions anymore.) Again the blatant lack of using the telepathy as a means to facilitate plot.Most annoying, though, I can’t really like Bogden. He makes little sense to me. Weird.Towards the end, when the action picked up, things improved a little. So I’m good.
review 2: This was a good addition to the Katzman Series. I was sorry to see that uniqueness of the Katzman kind o... moref forgotten in this book. Maybe it is because it is the third book in the series and the assumption is that you already know what Katzmen look and feel like.I think this one was much better than book two. I enjoyed the introduction to the rest of Katzman and their people. The set up was good, the characters were more complex and the world easily imaginable. Since there is no explanation of what went on previously and the use of characters from both preious books, if you haven't read the two prvious books you may be lost trying to read this as a stand-alone. less
