review 1: A great look into undergraduate teaching and research based strategies for effective teaching. I particularly like Chapter 2 which differentiates how experts and learners organize information. I also found Chapter 5 helpful in thinking about designing challenging tasks, providing support structures and offering feedback. While the examples are taken from undergraduate classrooms, many of the techniques apply to curriculum development (for in person and online consumption).

This is a good book if you want to understand how people learn. It is really aimed at teachers.
