review 1: 3.5 stars It was a little slow getting started and I had a hard time with Jakes parental neglect. Once I was able to understand what happened (at least a little) I was able to enjoy the story more. The teenagers are pretty funny but felt SA tried a bit too hard with the slang and mannerisms for them. I also felt Jenny in the "real world" would have tried harder to keep Austin with her and not been so quick to accept that she had no hope of winning guardianship after just one phone call with one attorney. I liked that Jenny and jakes attraction to each other was immediate but it took some time for them to give in. I also enjoyed Jakes dirty talk during the sexy scenes. It was pretty hot :) Overall, it... more was an entertaining read that I would recommend.
review 2: Jenny Salazar doesn't know Jake Bradshaw but she doesn't like him. He hasn't been around for thirteen years, the exact age of his son. Austin is a fantastic kid who's been like a brother to Jenny since he was three.Of course, Jake is the hero of our story so there are extenuating circumstances but the journey of these two people, one homebody and one used to traveling the world, finding each other and Jake learning to step up and be a dad is one worth reading. A little too fast with some points that are glossed over too fast but still a good read. less
