Sisterhood Diaries
review 1: I really enjoyed this fun romance with a hint of mystery. The H and h were well developed characters and I learned to love both of them as the story unfolded. I am patiently waiting to read book #2 and book #3 in the "Sisterhood" so that I can learn more about Poppy and Ava. Susan was able to give the reader a glimpse into these two supporting characters lives and how all of them grew up together to become friends/sisters.
review 2: The first of a series about three friends, Jane, Ava and Poppy. They inherited a mansion from an old lady who encouraged their friendship and education since they were teenagers. This is Jane's story. Jane out of the three is controlled, not passionate (so she thinks) and an art museum curator. Growing up as an only child to

It was working till gorgeous Devlin comes back to town to help his brothers contractors company help fixed-up the mansion Devlin see's the women under all the self-control as a sensual and desirable and Jane can't resist and they begin a lusty affair. Through the story it becomes more and Jane learns she deserves passion and Devlin's appreciation for family. One aspect I thought didn't work was the thief trying to get the collection sort of boring. Can't wait to read the other books in the Sisterhood series! less

I found this book to be a bit of a mixed bag. I enjoyed the characters, and basic story line, but it rehashed some overdone themes. How many books have the "just having a fling because I can't deal with a real relationship" plot? I think it would have been a far more interesting story to have all that sexual tension, and then have to come to terms with real feelings BEFORE you jump in the sack. Ah, well, 90% of romance novels would be in trouble then...The main reason I'm only giving it three stars, however, is that 1) clever dialogue doesn't equal realistic diaglogue and 2) don't get into your villain's head unless you have some experience with villainy. It usually comes off as a ridiculous Disney-type villain.

This book was a great story of 'love at first sight' and I loved every second of it! There's drama, suspense, action, romance (obviously) and all the good stuff! :DAs always, I feel compelled to point out that there is sex in this book, so if you're not very comfortable around the topic... don't read the book until you *are* comfortable with it.Anyways, it was a great read that I truly enjoyed! :) Happy reading!
