review 1: Bending the Rules is a sweet story of opposites attract. The author has a sweet knack of weaving a sweet..innocent story if not a good then at least an interesting thriller.. The one exactly like a reader would love.The story starts with Jase and Poppy butting heads with each other and having misconceptions about one another.. I seem to fall in love with books that have leads as Poppy..but, oh well..So by some twist of fate, they end up spending time together and thus, their journey begins.Though, the writing style was a bit slow in the beginning and I kinda got bored the...but it more than made up for it afterwards.. This is a story you might like to savour in your mind long after you've finished. It is sweet and innocent in parts and then goes ahead and deals with diffic... moreult subjects with the same ease.Jason and Poppy's relationship is a sweet one ..something that makes you laugh and feel warm. It isn't perfect but it's pretty close to it. The secondary characters are fun to read and you wonder about their story as well..All in all..a great job by the author..
review 2: I started it super late last night and finished super late tonight! It was soooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm always excited to find a new author I like... and it's always a relief when you like the second book as much as you liked the first... I mean, one book could be a fluke, but two? Not as likely. SO CUTE. I love her writing style and her characters! Poppy was fun and care-free. Jason needed to take the stick out of his butt. You know how that goes. So so cute. And also... ummm... WOW. STEAMY. I'm pretty sure my husband (also a Jason who frequently needs to unstickify) was a fan of this book, too! ;) less
