review 2: If you are a foodie, this book is for you!! Much of the story line centers around good food and there are even recipes included at the start of each chapter!! A great fall/winter read with lots of holiday and "comfort" food! This book was not a page-turner for me, but I grew to love it more and more. As the characters developed I grew more and more invested, and now that I've finished I'm planning to reserve a copy of the 2nd in this trilogy!! less
