review 1: I was going to write a review of this but I generally agree with what's already written. Not Susan's best book and I think she does better with more characters and more plots running through. However, the saving grace is the way that it is, as usual, so beautifully written , especially the descriptions of the lake and countryside but not fond of part of the plot personally although, obviously this can often be the case in novels.
review 2: Seriously??? Come on! Daisy's son is in a car seat and Logan unbuckles it and carries it into the house. Charlie is not a baby in an infant carrier, so it isn't like he weighs an inconsequential amount. He about 4.5 so he weighs somewhere about 40lbs and a car seat at that age isn't just unbuckled and lifted out of the car.Un... morebelievable things like the one above really took away from the book and almost made me discontinue reading this series. I really like all the people in these books, but there are just so many things about these books that irritate me, I am not sure if I can bare to finish the series. less
