review 1: I absolutely loved this book! It was my favorite. I could not put it down, and I wanted to read it every second. It just kept giving you new things to think about. I loved this book because it let you keep your mind open and you could kind of give your opinion. It let things happen where you had to use you imagination. The characters had lots of romance. So I would recommend this to girls. Boys can read it too, but I don't recommend this to boys. I loved this book a ton and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
review 2: 3.5/ Cute, Light, Enjoyable. The story was cute...I love the idea of guardian angels and coffee...so this was a good book for me. I liked Malcolm's character. The only thing that I didn't like was the time skip at the end of the book, where the au
... morethor throws on info and explains everything that happened later. I thought it would have been more enjoyable if the time skip wasn't mentioned, and the reader didn't know what actually happened to Malcolm. It would more of a mystery. Some of my ideas:1.) Although Malcolm turning into a human was great—it was a disappointment. He should have stayed in his world, and Katrina should have stayed in hers. Plus, how the heck would Malcolm stay in the real world? Like the Officer said, he doesn't have a passport or a home. He doesn't even go to school either. How would he fit in?2.) I don't know why Katrina didn't have a thing for Vincent... he seemed like the perfect guy. Honestly, I would have preferred if Katrina went with Vincent and Malcolm went back to Heaven. It would have made more sense.3.) The time skip was unbelievable. The whole closing of Java Heaven seemed rushed and kind of unrealistic. I doubt their business would have closed so quickly.4.) I doubt Vincent would get THAT famous from giving CPR to a guy. It was heroic, but it was overly played out.Stuff I liked: Malcolm, angels, wishes, coffee, that one story about the potato farmer. It was really hilarious, made me laugh. Overall: Decent, cute story. If you're looking for depth, don't read this. If you want to read something sweet and light, then read this book. The story was at times unrealistic, but it was an enjoyable read. It reminded me of the feeling you get after drinking a warm beverage of hot chocolate. less
