review 1: the characters Jane,Mimi,Amelia,Emmy,Thad etc. seem very logical but Amelia and Emmy seem to have this twin connection that is mentioned in the story a few times like they have the same dream. Thad the guy that is Tesla's assistant which Jane is in love with. I thought this story would start on the Titanic but would later come in near the end, But i guess the story on land was also important as it showed what feelings Jane had for Thad and how they were raised in Spirit Vale and The Earthquake that happened which influenced Jane to become a Journalist and her hobby to keep track of all the things that Tesla the man that saved her that day did after the earthquake. Continuing Mimi left as any logical person would to see the world which was a huge surprise to me since it cut... more her out of the book for about 100 pages,But later on would come back in on the titanic.The ending was certainly heart warming as it describes how the main character's feeling after all that has happened. I wont spoil it if you haven't read the book
review 2: This is more of my opinion on people's opinions on the book. I loved the book, read it 10 times (currently on my 11th time). It's amazing how many people didn't like it, yes there are things that could be better but still an outstanding book. I love how the romance is not the main thing 'till later on. It's a fantastic view from a girl who has strong opinion on everything yet keeps a little more hidden. I personally will always love this book and will read it 1000 times. (Like Hazel in The Fault in Our Stars). For the people who didn't like the book sorry you thought it was bad not everyone will like the same thing. I apologize if I have wasted your time. less
