review 1: This book was ridiculously creepy! I had to finish it even though I was super tired because I couldn't leave off in the middle of the horror. I don't think it would be too great for the average upper elementary student because nightmares would ensue! Even when I finished I was still creeped out. It was definitely a page turner and a clever idea, but it's only suitable for fans of true horror stories.
review 2: The Haunted Museum#1 by Suzanne Weyn was a new way of looking at the sinking of the Titanic. I don't know if I could really say that kids would like this book, it seemed a bit scary. Scarier then I would have thought. This book is about a locket which was found in the effects of the Titanic after it sunk. The locket is placed in the Haunted Museum and
... moredon't touch signs are posted everywhere. Of course, no one ever pays attention to those signs. A replica ship of the Titanic plans to set sail and follow the exact route the original Titanic was supposed to take. Somehow the ghosts of the original Titanic got word of this newly built Titanic and the route and decided to board the ship. The two girls, who are the main characters will battle with the ghosts, and they will never know whether they are in modern times, or the original Titanic Times. It is a good concept, but it would be scary for kids. I received a free copy of this book in return for my honest opinion. less

I really liked this book! I was creped out about it, and even when I finished the book I was still scared!! I only started to read the book just before I went to bed; I'm never gonna do that again!! I think kids 9 and under would be so scared they'd never read this book again. I loved this book!:)
