review 1: 2.5 S. The only thing I like about this story is the ending, other than that not so much. Jaxxon is bith-iest of all the bitch, she rivaled Alaska (Finding Alaska)in the that scale. Although the characters are good how they're built up throughout the story, not much. It lacks of depth and in some parts it became so predictable. Instead of going straight to the point the story has taken a lot of left and right turns which test my patience on finishing this one. Another good thing about his book? It's a stand alone.
review 2: This book was 2 stars up to around the middle of the book for me, then life got in the way and i stopped reading it for a day or two...came back at the bit when she was on holiday in France and he interrupted it 'because he missed her'....hm
... moremm no. you don't interrupt you sex-friend's holiday because you missed her, you have no right to do that matey.....and she just accepted it after some stupid food fight. And what was strange was that she was actually enjoying the holiday without him and was just relaxing and having fun...the author didnt even make a any indication that Jaxx wished he was there with her. And Anna's boyfriend just happened to be a bad liar, and just happened to have told the main guys best friend, who just happened to want to tell him where Jaxx was (after of course- wanting to play with him first), which surprise-surprise gave him a way of knowing where she was. KMT. Had to drop it after then- the characters were all 2D and boring. I thought:---->Jaxx was 2/5, she was okay, but was portrayed as such a strong character that it came across slightly forced IMO....also she crumbled to the main guy, way way way to easily for someone that is meant to be so strong and independent. --->The main guy (I forgot his name even though i'm writing this LITERALLY 2mins after stopping reading) was just annoying- he literally had no claim in her life from the beginning to be acting the way he was towards her (acting like he owned her, breaking into her apartment, stalking her while she was working)- it didn't come across as endearing just creepy (and the way just just accepted it because of some proposed 'animal magnetism' was just an excuse for the author to create hot/'interesting' scenes). Even apart from the holiday he did some things that annoyed me-acting like he would kill guys that where around Jaxx (and she just accepted it- which was stupid), telling his mate not to call her Jaxx etc. It didn't come across as Alpha Male or whatever, it just came across as forced feelings tbh: 0.0076547/5This whole book felt forced to me, from the personalities of each character, to even the English setting and swear-words.....thinking about it now, i think i would have preferred a story about Anna. less
