review 1: This series is literally the BEST female comic ever drawn. Granted the waiting period is not over for the fans. But it has been such a joy reading it. Precautions for people who wants to read this series:1. be patient2. be patient3. look at 1 and 2the reason being is simply because this comic was started in mid 70's and it hasn't finish. Currently (July 2012) hana to yume has publish up to vol 49. The tankoubon (comic book format) just reached no 48. in 2005 there was an interview with the author and she mentioned that the book should be finished before vol 50. But after reading the latest chapter in my opinion this series probably will end around vol 56. Hopefully this series will end soon, I guess the only comforting fact is that previous editor of this work have seen th... moree last scene of this comic 15 years ago. so hopefully this manga will have a happy end that we, the fans crave. As far as I know this comic only been publish in few languages: Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Italian. If you are interested to read this series in english mangafox site has it. Happy reading
review 2: I think everybody's obsession of bidadari merah is too lebay'.. but I love maya's spirit n never give up attitude in achieving what she's always dream of..to become a good actress.. simply because she love to act!! not to perform..!!her simplicity n modesty remind me of me. being invisible and nobody in the real world..and her guardian angel... ahhh *sigh* *daydreaming.com*I hate when this comic just disappeared from the bookstore without knowing the ending... less
