review 1: Webb did it to me again. These guys are interesting, damaged, loyal and hot. I was immersed in their lives. I did have a problem with their lack of safe sex. No thought of disease. No talk of condoms. Ben has been turning tricks. Men - think. Ben if you love someone make sure they are safe until enough time and clean medical reports make it okay to forget the condoms. Again what a cliff hanger. Loved it.
review 2: Ok I cheated. Well a little bit anyway. I read one and two back to back which was good for my cliffhanging-hating soul. Until I got to the end of this one. I do hope Mr Webb's ears are not burning because I think I even threw in a few Italian curses I didn't realise I had picked up from my family, at him. I know, I know I was warned but it is soo... moreoooooooo good I could not wait. Ok I am so into instant gratification when it comes to well written books and lovely characters that I get pulled into caring about, and TA Webb does this so well.. I felt Marcus' anguish and frustration at not knowing, not being able to be there. I felt Ben's terror and knee jerk flight reaction, his feeling of worthlessness, and I loved the acceptance of the relationship they had and could have by both of them. I also loved the other characters in the world (they are next on my TBR list) and how they interact with each other giving me an idea of how deep Marcus' grief truly went. Mr Webb effortlessly took us along with him to.... Yet another cliffhanger (must be a child of the 80's like me, everything ended in a bloody CH).I will forgive him but I need #3 soon and I know I am not the only one. Read it... less
