review 1: This was wonderful. While I always enjoy reading about the the nervous, aching, vulnerabilty of the first time between two young men, I must admit that there was something incredibly sexy about two established, sexually experienced, and self confident, adult men finding love for the first time...with each other. Striving to remain closeted as high ranking naval fighter pilots, both Chuck and David were content with leaving their sexuality and covert trysts ashore while they focused on their incredibly successful careers. Life had other plans, however, when they found each other working on the same ship and on the same squadron. For the first time, both men felt passion for something that was on par with their love of flying. Can they have both?Excellent ... moreread.
review 2: First work of T A Webb's that I've read and it won't be the last; not least because his style of writing 'spoke' to me.From the first page, he'd got my attention and kept it until the very end. Although very short, the main characters along with the supporting characters were beautifully drawn as were the scenes of where they lived and worked.I also felt that for a work so short, detail wasn't lacking at all. The author has still managed to provide me with the time to be able to get to know his characters and gain some insight into not only their minds but their roles as Naval Pilots. The romance and the love-story had a lovely 'natural' feel to it; nothing felt rushed (as it so often does in these short stories) and therefore it all felt so utterly plausible. For me, this is one of those rare 'gems' in short story literature. If T A Webb can captivate me as he has in Love on a Wing and a Prayer, then I can't wait to read his longer works.I thank Mr Webb for gifting this as a FREE read. I'll be glad to pay for the rest. less

It was a cute quickie. Not brilliant. Just gooey and melty and easy on the mind.

A tasty enough snack to pass the time, but doesn't quite hit the spot.
