review 1: This book is really fascinating, because I really can't put it down. I love how Tahereh wrote this book beautifully. I love her style, when she repeats a phrase/ word. I also liked the part of the book when Julliete is really showing that she can stand up on her own and I love it when she didn't realize that Warner is helping her instead of torturing her. But I really hoped that will make another book about Warner and Julliete taking on the world together and how they will conquer and save the world.
review 2: Bleah!Derivative plot, hastily sketched characters, and a just-barely-new premise: here's how superheroes originated! PLUS here's an update to the ol' Godzilla story: this time the radiation-toxic "monster" is human!! And a girrrrrrl!! It makes me dep... moreressed to see how many more books are in this series, each no doubt with a small (but elaborately padded) chunk of plot to add. Even the titles are depressingly, pretentiously ambiguous. "Shatter Me"? What? This is a request? There are too many good books out there AND too many excellent series to waste time on this sub-par set. less
