review 1: Have to give a rating of more than 5 stars - What a fantastic love story, at this point I don’t care about the way it has not really ENDED, I can’t wait to read the second part of this wonderful story. I cried so deeply while reading parts of this story, became so involved with these characters, loved the way the author wrote from each of the characters voices, this read was so enjoyable. Now on to the second part of Emily and Logan’s story, can’t wait – Thank you, Ms. Falkner you are a great storyteller and writer.
review 2: This series has been recommended to me by a lot of people, and I always like it when we have a series about a family or in this case brothers (even better). My first thought after finishing this book was "where is the rest." Wh... moreile I wouldn't say it ends with a cliffhanger, you certainly know there is going to be a second book, and you'll probably want to start reading it immediately. So I suggest buying them both at once.Honestly, this is a pretty fast and short read, so I'm surprised the author even split the story in two. It could have easily been one book and I actually prefer it that way. Since now I have that feeling of unfinished business. While she did manage to create a good break/ending, it doesn't feel definite at all and therefor it felt a bit lacking.Logan and Kit are two interesting characters. With Logan being deaf, communicating isn't always that easy, though he never had any trouble attracting the ladies. When he meets Kit, it doesn't immediately go that well, but there is this instant connection. She has some very clear trust issues, and Logan is new to the whole actually really liking a girl and wanting to get to know her. They both need a breather to figure things out, though this time I liked the fact that things move pretty fast. It's still not instant love, there is that definite hesitation from both sides, but you know it just works.Kit has a big personal secret, and she's afraid of the consequences when that comes out. While it doesn't involve the Reed brothers, the reveal of that secret will mostly just have consequences for her. She's not immediately ready to share that with Logan, and it's one of the big reasons why they are taking their time. So I definitely liked the pace of the love story, it's just felt overall short. As soon as I finish writing this review, I'll be reading the second book. I do feel the need to mention, with the book being so short, there are some details missing and I have a lot of questions. Even if the author wanted to split the story up, I still believe this could have easily been up to a hundred pages longer. Mostly so we can get deeper into certain parts. Now while there are some serious issues, it still feels a bit superficial at times. less

Ahhhhh lo ame!!! Me lo leí en menos de 8 horas, gracias a los dioses del trabajo que mantuvieron a mi jefa todo el día de hoy en reuniones, así pude terminarlo jajajaja :DAl principio lo sentí un poco parecido a otro libro, esto en cuanto a los personajes, pero conforme la historia fue avanzando, esa opinión cambio totalmente, los personajes fueron únicos. Es una historia que como ya se habrán dado cuenta por el tiempo en el que me la leí, es muy ligera, divertida, hot as hell y románticaaaaaaa♡Logannnnnn, que ganas de comermelo a besos, me mantuvo retorciendome en la silla del trabajo durante todo el tiempo que estuve leyendo *se abanica* jajajaja pero no sólo es un chico caliente, NOOOOOOOOOO, él es todo corazón, y yo quiero uno como él ¿Dónde los venden? jajaja. Kit, la adoreeeee, toda una heroína que se sacrifica por lo que ella considera es lo mejor para Logan, no le encontré ningún defecto.Me encantó el giro de los hechos casi al final, realmente me iba a sentir frustrada si hubiera terminado como pintaban las cosas, pero gracias a dios Ms. Falkner decidió que ya era tiempo que su mamá abriera los ojos, y de que manera wiiiiii, enserio me emocione tantoooooo cuando le hacen las últimas preguntas ahhhh *lágrimitas*!!!!! Me encantó el final, y ya quiero terminar esta ronda de libros para poder leerme el segundoooooo, muero totalmente por leerlo!!! Los hermanos Reed fueron la bomba, y saber que podré leer sus historias, uffff; tengo que mencionar a la pequeña Hayle, una cosita preciosa!Es el primer libro que leo de la autora, pero estoy segura que no será el último... por lo pronto me leeré todos los de esta serie!!!!

Oh man. There were typos, there were so many ridiculous tropes, there was so much you could see coming if you knew what a romance novel entailed.I mean, it wasn't BAD. It wasn't horrible. It was, however, hysterical, and I'm still laughing about it two hours after having finished it....It probably wasn't the author's intent, but I enjoyed it.Fortunately, it only takes about an hour and a half to read and the characters are all pretty likeable, if one-dimensional and not realistic (but then again, one doesn't read this for mind-blowing character development). Much more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be, and a lot less painful to read. Would definitely recommend over Twilight, if you want a girl uncomfortable with her family who wants to live with her boyfriend and his family (but also have sex with them!).
