review 1: Lucy has to be one of the unluckiest protagonists ever. Not only is she killed, but to add insult to injury (literally), she returns as a ghost to haunt the urine-stained floors of the underground men's loos in which she was murdered. And they say life's unfair? Think of The Lovely Bones, only with humour, and you have My So-Called Afterlife. Lucy's wit and the quirky characters prevent this from being a depressing read but you may find yourself reaching for the tissues once the families are introduced! The ending is predictable but it's well done so it doesn't matter. A feel-good read, believe it or not!
review 2: I LOVED THIS BOOK. Lucy is dead, but after she meets Jeremy she is able to deal with this. I love her character and the story, it's so original! I r
... moreecommand this book to everyone who is (even if only a little) in love with typical girl's books. Though this book has a nice twist. I've added this book to my shelf 'books i love no matter how many times i read' and it's true. I can read this book so many times and I would never get bored. Therefore I was absolutely thrilled to see that there were two books following! Can't wait to read those :) less
