review 1: ObservationObservation is the second volume in the Doctor Dom series by Tara Cresent if you haven’t read volume one you’ll want to do that first. This is the continuation of Dr Patrick Anderson and Lisa’s affair. Lisa has some serious hang-ups from her past and the fact that she’s realizing that Patrick isn’t just pretending to be a dominant for the sake of playing out her fantasy has her terrified she’ll fall into the same traps again. Patrick has his own hang-ups from his failed marriage and it concerns him how easily Lisa falls into the submissive role. The last thing he wants is to end up with another woman that wants him to take complete control over her entire life. He wants a partner in life and a sweet submissive in the bedroom. review 2: This book picks up where book #1 left off.Well hello Doctor Anderson, I've been a naughty girl and need to be bent over your knee for punishment. Please. Ok the medical play continues in this book. We learn more about Lisa's first BDSM experience with Nick and how she is determined to NOT let that happen to her and Patrick. Nick is much older than Lisa and played on her insecurities, using them against her to hurt her. BDSM is about trust and respect, but Nick wasn't playing that game, he was playing something much more dangerous. Lisa has over come and is moving on. She has her own business and its going well. She also has a new man in her life, Patrick, who she likes to play doctor with. As the time between Lisa and Patrick pass they are learning how to trust each other and what is okay.I love how Doctor Anderson cares about her, how he is a hard ass, but will still ask, is this okay? He does care, he wants that bond with her, he wants that connection with her, but there is something in him that is holding him back. Things are slowly pieced together from Lisa and Patrick's past. I was disappointed when Lisa ran. I thought she had worked past all that, but yet when push comes to shove, she still ran.I did get a little creeped out with the enema's. But the rest of the stuff I could handle. Would I like it done to me? yeah, NO. less
