review 1: I personally loved this book, and I definitely will read again. Harmonic feedback has amazing dialog that keeps the reader intrigued. This novel really helps you as the reader take a step back and understand that everyone is different yet so similar. This novel exemplifies everything it means to be mature. I say this because in the novel teens Justin, Drea, and Naomi become friends. As friends and teens they face many challenges but eventually thing spiral out of control. This novel shows that in life you face many things, but you cannot put too much into the wrong things just because life is not going your way. Tara Kelly does an amazing job of teaching that there are consequences for your actions regardless of the challenges life brings you. I would recommend this books f... moreor anyone 10-25 because it really does give a life lesson.
review 2: The summer of all the hoarded YA novels continues.....This one gets four stars for a very unique and well-written main character, Drea. Drea has ADHD and Asperber's Syndrome. Her thoughts and reactions are extremely honest and believable. The boy interest, Justin, is also well-written and not the usual YA boy nonsense. They have a believable chemistry, one that burns through the pages. Again, not what you often see in today's cookie-cutter YAs.I did have some problems with the catalyst character of Naomi, and felt her story ended abruptly, although it had been telegraphed. I just didn't know enough about her to feel engaged. However, for readability and uniqueness, I give this four stars. Sad that books like this get lost in the shuffle of the dystopia of the week trend. less
