review 1: I'm having a hard time wanting to read this book. I miss the characters from the other books and this one seems so out of character from the other ones. I dunno. I am about a third of the way through and am not impressed just yet. Maybe around the middle it will get better. The first 4 kept me wanting to read more and more. This one? I keep putting down to go off and do other things. I remember doing this the first time I read it. Tate Hallaway probably should have stopped with the previous story. It was a good way to end the series.I can't say that I loved this one. But I can't say that I hated it either. She should have ended it with "Dead if I Do".
review 2: A fun trip with witchy Garnet through her no-go honeymoon in winter Minnesota. I loved G... morearnet's struggle to figure out which goddess to keep- Lilith, mother of Demons or Athena, warrior priestess. The plot is engaging with plenty of cool action. My complaint: not enough Sebastian, also not enough of the secondary characters. Since this is the last book, I would have appreciated more resolution. less
