Wish List Wednesday: Padian and Yoon

Wish List Wednesday is brought to you by Pen to Paper.

For this weekly meme I’ll be discussing with you 1 or 2 books that are currently on my wish list.

This week I’ll be talking about Wrecked by Maria Padian and Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon.

Everyone on campus has a different version of what happened that night.

Haley saw Jenny return from the party, shell-shocked.

Richard heard Jordan brag about the cute freshman he hooked up with.

When Jenny accuses Jordan of rape, Haley and Richard are pushed to opposite sides of the school’s investigation. Now conflicting versions of the story may make bringing the truth to light nearly impossible—especially when reputations, relationships, and whole futures are riding on the verdict.

I actually heard about this book from Amy @ Novelgossip and she was raving about how wonderful it was. So I actually requested it from Netgalley and got denied. Bummer. So I have been patiently waiting for an opportunity to buy it. It just hasn’t been a priority.

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

So I actually wasn’t interested in reading anything by Nicola Yoon until I won a giveaway for The Sun is Also a Star. After reading the synopsis of that book, I decided to see what this book was about and I found it interesting. After talking with a coworker and watching her booktube where she mentioned how much she loved this book, I decided to add it to my TBR also!

Tell me your thoughts about these books! I’d really like to know. Depending on what y’all share with me, I may or may not move them higher on my needs list!
