review 1: I won this book from Harlequin through a Twitter contest. I would say my true rating of this book is a 3.5. Overall the book started out well. The mystery was good. Lara and Dominic are hot together. But things sort of fell apart for me. Lara was supposedly very dedicated to her schooling and her plan of an internship. She then leaves her life behind, losing her job and her apartment. And somehow finishing school without ever going back even though she was so determined not to miss class before leaving town. Then there was Dominic's big lie late in the book. Lara then takes off...but not really. It just all lost me and seemed very unrealistic in a way that I couldn't get behind.
review 2: I love this series and this is another one not to be missed. The sexual t... moreension just radiates off the pages and I love the strength of the female character, even though she didn't always make the best choices. (You just had to go back to the apartment, didn't you? :) I'm really looking forward to reading Sir's story and getting more background on why he and his sister lost contact. I any wait for the next book!!! Hurry Ms. Tawny. less
