review 1: I have mixed emotions about this book. I really enjoyed book one with the settings and backgrounds and most importantly the progress it made. This book took the same story and continued but it was tinted with teenage angst. Forest ran away anytime she couldn't deal with things. Then, she finally pushed Syrus too far and broke their bond. I understand she suffered a lot in her life but she just wanted to hold on to that and not move on.
review 2: I started reading this book straight after I finished the first one and the first one was amazing so i was really excited. Especially when it ended with that huge cliffhanger where she gets banished. So when I started reading this i got through 20 pages of the book and that problem was already resolved. I was hopin... moreg it would continue throughout the book and that the main problem would be "finding their way back to eachother." But no this didnt happen. I just found this book really slow and a bit boring really. less
