review 1: I'm so glad that she changed the title from White Trash Love Song to A Song For Us. It suits the book waaaaay better. It kinda sucked that thus book wasn't about Cass and Tuck. Though, at the same time it's nice because you know they're happy and aren't fighting over stupid things anymore. That's not to say that the stupid fighting didn't happen. Derek, Sarah, and Eric did lots of it, which is why I didn't love this book. to me, everything just seemed like a filler to the big final. I loved the ending though. I thought it was perfect.
review 2: This is the third book in the series and is the story of Eric and Sarah.Eric wasn't the easiest person to get along with on tour, but Cass got him and Sarah got him. When the guys are on tour everything seems to flow, b
... moreut now that Filth isn't on tour with them anymore, E tries to move on. He knows Sarah made her choice and he wants nothing more than for her to be happy. He just wishes she could have picked him to be happy with. When the two see each other again, the looks between them are still there, along with their connection. Unfortunately, Sarah made her choice to be with Derek, no matter how wrong he is for her. E can't help but be jealous when he sees Derek touch his girlfriend, when E wants nothing more than for Sarah to be his. Even though E is getting closer to Donna, his bands manager, he looks as her as a friend, and right now he needs all the friends he can get.Eric has his problems and guilt from growing up, living each day feeling like he's at fault. He left home and hasn't looked back since.Sarah has also had her fair share of heartbreak and hurt from her home life and ran away never looking back. She doesn't think her mom would believe her and she feels guilty for leaving her little sister behind.Sarah and Eric share a bond, one where they trust one another and confide in each other about their past situations. Unfortunately, Sarah's boyfriend and band member doesn't get along with Eric, though the feeling is mutual.Sarah continues to stay with a man who treats her like crap, because she feels like she deserves what she gets, when Eric wants nothing more than to be the guy who takes care of her. When situations explode, the group is ripped apart and each one learns that they need to fix their past before they can truly move towards their future.I can say I enjoyed the last part of this book, much better than the beginning. I felt like there was lots of parts that dragged out. I wanted to smack Sarah on more than one occasion. Overall, it was a great story and I loved the ending! less
