review 1: Yay! I was hesitant to read this book because I read the first one and wasn't too impressed. It was a sweet little story, but it wasn't a book. Now I see that it was basically just an introduction to the band and emmie. After I finished this book, I immediately looked to see which guy was going to be in the next book...yay, it's drake. Then I was confused because of the amount of books. Turns out, book 5 will be about Nikki and Emmie again. Part of me is glad that they get a full length book, and the other part feels like it's just a bit overboard...a ploy to get the readers to spend more money for the same story. That makes me a but mad.I am looking forward to reading the other books though, so I will put that decision on hold.This is about Layla and Jesse. Jesse is the d... morerummer, none of the guys in the band have had an easy life, they all haunted by their upbringing but when Emmie gets pregnant and buys a house they can all live in together, they hire a housekeeper...this is where Layla comes in. Layla hasn't had it easy either, and now she also has custody of her two younger sisters. When she gets the job, her world changes. She and Jesse have immediate chemistry, but he's a rocker...and no way will she get involved with a rocker. She just has to steer clear, but trying to stay away just isn't possible when two people have such undeniable chemistry. And so their romance begins....really good book.
review 2: I am loving this series. I loved all the rockers from demons. This story continues from book 1. Layla is the new housekeeper and falls for the bad baldie handsome rocker Jessie. Layla has a past and she has custody of her two younger sisters that she loves and adores. I really love their story. The story brings all the characters which I love. Can't wait to read the whole series. I'm so happy I downloaded book 4 by accident. I tried reading book 4 but didn't want to miss the new characters history so I decided to start from beginning. less
