review 1: 3.5 starsI was so excited to read this novel, I didn't even know it was released already..For 6 chapters, the story focused more on Liam, I did skip here and there. I mean, I want to read about Ax and Dallas but from the very first chapter, there were very few (1 or 2) scenes with them together. I love the drama, but it's not enough. Their story's too short, their time together is too short, sure they've been together in the last few books but of course I don't remember much about it and there were only glimpses of what happened between them.
review 2: See my crazed rant for Book# 6, not much else to say here. It was more of the same - very little to do on the part of the hero other than having a Munany - that would be a male punany, lol - to get back his heroi
... morene, steamy sex scene, heroine doubt, steamy sex scene, heroine insecurity, really steamy sex scene...ya get my drift. It's a whole bunch of nuthin' masked by fits/tantrums/rages of insecurity on the part of the females while the males are treated as nothing more than walking phallums (?) phalli? Is that a word? Anyhoo, you take that and intersplice it with a whole bunch of book porn and The Rocker Series is born. And sometimes there's not a damn thing wrong with this formula. Seriously, that may be all ya need and that's cool. But when it's 7 books of this shit into the series, perhaps not so much. I like a little story with my dick, is that so hard..er um..difficult? Well I digress, but yeah it's a bunch of lovesick rockstars & moronic chicks/bitches depending on whether the sex or anger switch has been flipped, who fall in love at first sight, fuck like bunnies, break up because of skanks and then get married and/or pregnant together. Happily ever after! Wash-Rinse-Repeat. Name-Rank-Serial Number. Again, you see the patterns, now think of this ad nauseum.Yeah I think it's safe to say I'm totally done with this series. And I was lookin' forward to this one too, dangit! less
