review 1: I'm not generally a fan of romance novels but this one, the sequel to "Soulbound" is a combination of romance and fantasy. It's about a young woman who belongs to a very powerful ruling family of witches and warlocks that is under attack from unknown individual(s). Someone wants to change the order of power in the witching community by committing gruesome murders of key members. The main character, Xandra, and her soulbound hunky lover find time between ridiculously continuous sessions of steamy lovemaking to solve the mystery.
review 2: At first I was not impressed with Xandra as the female lead in the story but as the book went along she got to be more of a person with a backbone. The book is well written and the story keeps your interest and I look forwar... mored to the next in the series. I will be getting the first one just to see how her and Declan story begins. That is what happens when you win a book that is the second in a series. I am glad that I did. less
