review 2: I LOVE Tessa Dare's writing. Her Spindle Cove series is one of my favorites. This book won't... more be on my list of Dare's best. It was slow, the main character, Sophia, was annoying. I don't like relationships based on lies and mistrust, and this book had it in abundance. The "I love you's" came before Gray even knew her real name, for goodness sake! Did he never think to demand the truth from her, when he was so open and honest about his life. He totally didn't deserve her. I liked Sophia's relationship with the other crew members, especially Davy. I really liked the relationship between Gray and his brother Joss. There was a lot there that I wish more time was spent developing. I don't think I'm going to rush out and read the third book in this Wanton Dairymaid Trilogy about Gray's sister Bel. She just didn't strike me as very interesting. less
