review 1: I'm torn with this book. I liked the guys and I liked how Jacob cared for Elijah. I found the back ground intriguing and wanted to learn more about Jacob's past. I love Elijah, he is the kind of guy who I enjoy in books, the jaded one who opens up for love.For a short story the author managed to get a lot done.But - I often felt outside of it, couldn't get into "feeling the story". While looking over it again for this review....I think because a lot is told, not shown.So...3,5 stars from me.
review 2: 3.5*I have a thing for rent-boy stories..so I'm always on the lookout for good ones! This was a good story, both MC's had a lot of baggage and trauma to deal with. As usual I would have liked a bit more of the MC's together, seeing their relationship and friendshi... morep grow.I missed the 'love' between them, I wanted to see them together more, but I did like that Elijah turned himself around on his own , it makes me hopeful for their future together. less
