review 1: I give this a 5 stars out of 5 stars.Stuart Knight is one hot veteran with a dark secret.Stuart Knight get discharged from the military and now thinks that he cant do anything that would be useful he has tried the private sector but didn't get any satisfaction from it. He has secrets that no one knows about. He doesn't want anyone to know about. Patrick and Derek are living with Elaine and Melissa so they don't see what is happening. But when Nikki calls Derek concerned for Stuart he now has to tell Patrick about it also.When Stuart just takes off to be alone without telling anyone, he stops by to see and give Kenny something for Lane. That is when one chance encounter with her friend Marika changes everything.What happened when Mariska and Stuart met? What secrets is St... moreuart hiding? Will Derek and Patrick make Stuart see that things are not what they seem or will it be someone else?This is a wonderful read.
review 2: The One to Hold series just keeps getting better and better! Every time I think I know who my favorite character is, she throws another one into the mix who I eagerly fall in love with. The way she weaves these peoples' lives together is extraordinary! Stuart and Mariska were HOT!!! Stuart is damaged, and clearly conflicted, but you honestly can't help but love him in spite of his stern behavior. And Mariska, oh jeez, your heart breaks for her even as you're screaming, 'You got this girl! Get him!'Tia writes passion like no other and this book especially was FILLED with racy, hot, panty-melting love scenes that will take your breath away. And her characters? Forget about it. You don't stand a chance. You'll love each and every one of them from headstrong Derek to little, adorable Lane; from feisty Kenny to loyal Melissa. Even the secondary characters like Uncle Bill and Rook, the owner of the Jungle Gym are people you'll carry a special love for.All in all, this series is amazing and this book is one hell of an addition.Kudos, Tia!Keep doin' what you're doin'! less
