review 1: Read this book while sitting on the beach and sipping a cold bottle of Clicquot. It's a fascinating historical look at the development of the champagne industry and the Veuve Clicquot brand. As many other reviewers have pointed out, It is full of supposition. That doesn't bother me too much, as it appears there isn't alot of information available about the Widow Clicquot. I learned quite a bit and it tastes even better now.
