review 1: Bet you thought that was it, a ot so happy ending for the series and Mr. O'Rourke is done with Kiera Hudson... well no, NO!!Kiera and her friends are back and ready for more adventures. But, what are a group of misfit not-really-dead ex-coppers to do in a world that seems to be completely misplaced? What coppers do best... look for trouble and face it. That is exactly what Kiera and the gang do in this book... Kayla is braver than ever, Potter is as potty-mouthed as usual, Isidor is as adorable in death as he was in life and Murphy... he's just old Jim Murphy all over. But, is Kiera ready to face the new dangers that roam this new world with now Vampyrus in it? Will she be able to hide her secret?
review 2: Kiera Hudson and crew are back again & better than eve... morer!! Once again Tim O'Rourke takes us on a bloody-thrill ride that will keep you up late into the nite unable to pry your eyes away from your Kindle!! I will never understand how he comes up with this stuff but boy am I glad he does, you will not find anything else like it out there.As much as I love the first Kiera Hudson series (I am a life-long addict LMAO) this one promises many more surprises & much intrigue. I dont want to say too much on the plot & spoil the story for you. Part of the thrill of Mr. O'Rourkes books is his ability to surprise us over & over again. I will say this is just as exciting, bloody & gross as I have come to expect with many twists & turns along the way. Lots of LOL moments between Potter & Isidor, and just with Potter himself ( I do love that man!!) And the ending will leave you picking your jaw up off the floor & drooling for more!!!! I also love that the POV changes back & forth between charaters which is new to the series. It is not necessary to read the first series before diving into this one, BUT I do HIGHLY recommend it!! All in all another awesome book from an incredible Author!! =] less
