review 1: This was the first book I've read from Tina Folsom and it won't be the last. It is the best vampire romance I have ever read! I loved Samson and Delilah. They were both fiery, well-developed characters and clearly perfect for each other. The suspense aspect of this book was well done. Okay the writing style was great. Previous vampire books I have read the vamp male comes across as too Alpha, but we got to see Samson's sensitive side and his weaknesses which made this book delightfully different. It was as easy to relate to him as it was to relate to Delilah. Sampson's Lovely Mortal was an easy, enjoyable and hot read. I loved all the supporting characters too and I am looking forward to reading more of the series.
review 2: I loved this book. It was super hot ... moreand just well written. Samson was the perfect flawed hero (even if he's a vampire) and Delilah was no doormat. It is so rare to have a book where the strong hero had, uh, erectile dysfunction issues. It was so different from other things that I've read that I had to read it. I'm so glad that I did! It was super hot. I mean, the sex scenes, WOW! It wasn't just that Tina wrote great sex scenes, bit the characters had depth which often is lacking in erotica. I was more interested in the actual storyline than the hot scenes. I also loved reading about all the other vampires and it made me immediately want to download those books. I think what makes the scenes between them so great is that you can see the love they have for each other. More often than not, you don't find that in too much erotica. You became a part of their love story and fell not just for them, but foe the other vampires. less
